Ever go to a poker game and the chips look like they came from the garbage? Grimy, dirty, sticky poker chips are no fun to play with. Casinos spend a lot of money keeping their poker chips clean so that you will want to play with them. I know that after a long night of playing poker, getting potato chip grease on you chips and after having a few beers spilled on them you don’t feel like cleaning them. Well my friend, maybe the next morning when you wake up from that hang over you might take a few minutes to clean your poker chips. You don’t have to do this every time you use them. Of course depending on how much you use them dictates how often you will want to clean them. Being a poker chip supplier we get asked all the time, do I have to buy new chips or can I clean the ones I have? We at JustPokerSupplies.com know that there are commercial cleaners out there. We have looked into selling those cleaners on our site until we saw what they are made of and decided that they are very expensive for something that you can go to the store and buy for a lot less. So we recommend using a mixture of good old TSP (TriSodium Phosphate). That’s right TSP. TSP is available at any hardware store and is very inexpensive. Of Course we recommend that you use a test chip before putting all your chips in the pot, as they say. This method should work well on clay poker chips, ceramic poker chips and abs or composite poker chips. A good dilution is 1 Tablespoon in 32 oz of warm water. Then let the solution cool before putting your chips in. Soak the chips for about 15 minutes lightly brush each chip with a soft brush and rinse the chips and towel dry. So that’s it in a nutshell. So the next time you want to clean you poker chips, try this tip and post your experience. Pictures are also welcome.

“Lucky Dragon: These Lucky Dragons are some of the most interesting chips I’ve received recently. I’ve got a number of chips from this particular supplier, but these stand out simply because they feel very different. With…IMHO…a fantastically gorgeous and simply design, combined with a great texture on the chip face, I have to say that I love these chips. (See close-up pic….that took, like, 15 tries to get a good shot). The feel is so different it’s hard for me to describe…I want to say ‘plastic-y’…but that’s not the best way to describe a high-end chip. The sound on these is good as well. All good stuff. Look at the pics and order some samples….these are some really great chips that need to make your short-list if you are into ceramics.” WEIGHT: 10.2 – 10.4 grams. FEEL: 9.5 QUALITY: 10 LOOKS: 9+
